Our organization, Distress Services, offers support to vulnerable individuals in British Columbia. We provide assistance through our 24/7 distress phone lines and online chat services, which are available from 12pm to 1am. Our team consists of highly trained volunteers and paid responders who offer non-judgemental emotional support. We conduct risk assessments, collaborate on safety planning, and provide short-term follow-up by phone. Additionally, we offer emergency rescue services when necessary. If you are experiencing crisis, distress, or thoughts of suicide, we are here to listen and help you, 24/7.
