About this service
The organization offers 100% coverage of eligible costs for B.C. residents of any age with clinical and financial need. They provide coverage for certain psychiatric medications and drugs that treat opioid use disorder. To confirm eligibility, the prescriber and the local mental health and substance use location or Child and Youth Mental Health team assess the individual. If eligible, the prescriber will submit an application on behalf of the individual. Coverage is provided for up to 1 year, and if needed, a new application can be submitted for further coverage.
