About this service
The Connections Day program is based on community inclusion and is person centered. Clients are supported on a variety of activities based on the goals, skills, needs and abilities. Services are offered on both a part time and full time basis.
Programs offered at Connections include: arts and crafts, woodworking, bowling, swimming, walking/hiking and the cooking program. There is also opportunity for paid employment and volunteering in a non-for-profit organization.
Connections provide social activiities that include weekly visits to the Citizens Advocacy Program, Music and Motion with Inclusion Parksville once a month and other events in and around the Port Alberni area. Other activities include bingo, monopoly, skip bo, a game of pool, Wii, surfing the internet or just relaxing to some music or a good movie.
