UpperDek Vees (5 years and over): An adaptive hockey program for individuals who experience developmental and/or physical medical challenges. Continuous intake September-March annually at the Okanagan Training Centre. Two levels: Level 1: Fresh Start - For beginner skaters who are interested in learning to skate and develop basic hockey skills. Participants will be introduced to skating, stick handling, passing and shooting. Level 2: Advanced - For teen and adult skaters who are ready to take their basic skills to the next level. Participants will build on their fundamental hockey skills having the opportunity to practice their skills in non-contact scrimmages.
Who it is for
5 years and over individuals who experience developmental and/or physical medical challenges.
