About this service
St. Saviours free store is a community outreach program devoted to addressing the most immediate clothing needs of local residents. Its run out of the parish hall on Orchard Avenue in the morning of the second and fourth Friday of every month. All items are free of charge. Donations of gently used clothing can always be made to the free store by visiting the church office during business hours, Tuesday to Friday, 9:00AM 1:00PM. The free store is another element of our commitment to social justice. It seeks to lower barriers to access for some of the most pressing needs of members of our Penticton community, namely the need for clothing. We believe that providing access for people to meet their most basic needs is the first tool in the toolkit needed to fight extreme poverty. We strive to live up to our calling to be the hands and feet of God who provides for the people of this world (Matthew 6).
