DESERT SUN PROVIDES SHORT-TERM SHELTER AND SUPPORT FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN FLEEING ABUSIVE SITUATIONS.
Our shelter is pet-friendly. We will let you keep your beloved pets with you on approval, or make arrangements for them to be sheltered until you find a suitable living space.
Is anyone:
- Hitting You
- Pushing You Around
- Calling You Names
- Preventing You from Seeing Friends or Family
- Touching You in Ways You Dont Like
- Keeping Money from you/taking your money
- If you have answered yes to any one of these, you are being physically, emotionally, or financially abused.
- You and your children have the right to safety. We offer, free and confidential help. We offer temporary safe shelter for women and children who are being victimized by threats, intimidation, physical, financial and emotional abuse by their partners. We provide a warm place to stay, where the basic necessities are taken care of.
