About this organization
Desert Valley Hospice Society is a registered charitable organization committed to supporting excellence in the delivery of hospice care, palliative care, and life-limiting illness care services for residents of the communities of Oliver, Osoyoos and Okanagan Falls. The goal of end-of-life care is the same regardless of setting; to ensure the best possible quality of life for dying people and their families. As a society, we promote public awareness and education of related issues, and we work towards honouring the memory of persons, whose lives have been lost due to illness, by holding special events such as our annual Celebration of Caring Hands, Hootenanny for Hospice, and Hike for Hospice.
