Located on-site at the NKMIP Resource Centre, the Walk-in Clinic is open to all OIB members. The clinic has a family physician ready to serve your general health needs and to make referrals to specialists. On Tuesdays, a nurse practitioner is on-site and able to provide nearly all the same services as a doctor. Even if you already have a family doctor, our doors are open to you. The clinic is open twice a week during specific hours. No appointment is necessary, but one can be made in advance if required. \Clinic staff are committed to a practice within a Syilx perspective and to implementing a holistic approach. A health care advocate is on-site and ready to make sure that you and your family are able to more easily understand your options and access the wide range of health services available, including transportation to and from health appointments, dealing with courts and family services, and accessing treatment programs. Reflexology and footcare treatments are also available for clients with diabetes and for elders in the community.
