Lions Gate Hospital (LGH) provides a full range of general and many specialized acute care services including general medicine, emergency and critical care, general surgery, orthopaedics, maternity, pediatrics, psychiatry, chemotherapy, cardiac care, diagnostics, nuclear medicine, palliative care, rehabilitative services and neurosurgery.
Lions Gate Hospital is part of the Coastal Health Services Delivery Area (HSDA) of Vancouver Coastal Health providing acute, community and primary health services to more than 270,000 residents in rural and urban settings living on the North Shore, in Sea-to-Sky Country, on the Sunshine Coast and in Powell River.
