About this service
The Education & Community Program was developed in 1993 by North Shore ConneXions Society to promote community acceptance and participation of people with intellectual disabilities. As a community service, North Shore ConneXions Society provides information sessions to increase awareness about people with an intellectual disability. We recognize that many members of our community have limited exposure to these individuals and may have questions and concerns. Our presentation can be customized to suit audience needs and will provide your group with helpful tools for interacting with individuals with an intellectual disability.
