About this organization
MacKenzie Camp is a summer kids camp on beautiful Mabel Lake, 35 km east of Enderby, B.C. Since 1947, we have been sharing our love of Creation and hope for the future with thousands of children and youth from the Shuswap, the Okanagan Valley, and around the world. Adults too! Our awesome staff, chaplains, and volunteers make it a welcoming and wondrous place, regardless of denomination. MacKenzie Camp is owned by the United Church of Canada and is operated by a Society of Volunteers who love camping and kids. The Camp and its programs are accredited by the BC Camping Association. We want our campers learn to appreciate and enjoy the wonders of the world we live in as a reflection of the Creator. We believe that children need to learn a loving, caring attitude which is best experienced through example.
