About this service
Seniors Services Society of BC (SSS) assists seniors with housing, social and support programs. We focus on seniors who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and are the only agency in Metro Vancouver working exclusively with seniors in housing crisis. We manage more than 4000 referrals a year from seniors, caregivers and service providers. In the region, including health and mental health units, shelters, police, municipalities and MLAs. Most of the seniors we serve are facing homelessness for the first time in their lives. HOUSING PROGRAMS 1)Seniors Housing Directory lists senior's housing options across BC. 2)Information & Referral connects people to seniors' housing services. 3)Outreach serves seniors in Metro Vancouver show are in housing crisis. 4)Temporary Housing Program(THP) services seniors in Metro Vancouver who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. 5)Homelessness Prevention Program (HPP) serves seniors in Metro Vancouver
