About this service
Fraserside provides access to financial assistance for low-income families who live in New Westminster to help cover registration fees for childrens summer camps.
Summer camps typically range in length, from half-day, week-long sports camps to two-week, overnight wilderness camps. Subsidies range up to 75% of the camp registration fee. Eligible families are responsible for paying the remainder.
Eligibility is based on total household income (see chart below). To determine eligibility, you will need to provide Fraserside with the following:
- proof of New Westminster residency
- picture identification
- current Notice of Assessment for each adult in the household
