About this service

Perspectives Substance Use Counselling Services for Youth & Families provides free counselling, education, referral and support to children and adolescents who are either experiencing substance use difficulties or are affected by someone else's substance use.

We believe that every person should be treated with respect, and that everyone has the ability to change and take responsibility for their physical, mental and social health.

Perspectives counsellors are able to help:

  • Figure out what is going on through assessment and consultation
  • Liaise with community agencies and other professionals to find help and appropriate resources; organize travel
  • Set goals that are important to you
  • Educate you, your family and/or the community about substance use issues
  • Counselling services are offered on a weekly and bi-weekly basis. There is no fee for counselling services.
Who can use it?

Any youth aged 12 to 18 years of age.

Fraserside CSS - Perspectives Substance Use Counselling Services for Youth & Families is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
