COVID-19 Update: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Animal Shelter is temporarily closed to the general public. We can still be reached at shelter@newwestcity.ca or 604-519-2008, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, 7 days/week (closed on statutory holidays).
New Westminster Animal Services is dedicated to keeping our community safe by providing education and ensuring compliance with the Animal Care and Control Bylaw. We also operate the Citys Animal Shelter, caring for the abandoned, stray, and unwanted animals of New Westminster.
