About this organization
Homelinks is a Distributed Learning program open to students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. With their parents and a BC Certified Teacher, Homelinks students construct an individualized Student Learning Plan. The Student Learning Plan is a living documents that helps guide the students learning and is tied to the BC Ministry of Education Curriculum. Students do the majority of their work at home but enjoy the support of qualified teachers to help them plan their journey through their school years.
DESK is a public Distributed Learning school offering a unique, caring, and flexible opportunity for learning, to students residing anywhere within the province of British Columbia. DESK follows the BC Ministry of Education curriculum, and DESK teachers work closely with learner families to support and guide the learning that is happening at home.
