About this service
Our Reaching Out committee at St. Pauls Anglican Church ministers to the wider community within and beyond our parish. We believe that kindness, care and service are practical and visible signs of love. We offer support on three levels; Local (Nanaimo Region), Regional (Diocese), and National/International (through the Primate's World Relief and Development Fund). In order to fund our various initiatives we hold fundraising events each year. Donations are also welcome. We support (through financial aid) organizations that assist those who are in need and in some cases marginalized. Such organizations include: Nanaimo Haven Society, Loaves and Fishes Community Food Bank, Nanaimo Community Kitchens, Literacy Nanaimo, Church of the North, and the Canadian Food Grains Bank.
