About this service
Led by VIS Choir conductor Patricia Plumley, the VIS Noteworthy Kids Choir is for kids aged 7 12. Each week, children will learn tricks and techniques to make beautiful music with their voices. Focusing on vocal development, they will learn new songs, new languages, and work on solfege and rhythm patterns. The session will culminate in a choir performance in the community (details to come). This is an excellent program for any child with or without prior musical experience who loves to sing. No refunds will be issued after the first two rehearsals. No rehearsals March 16 & 23, 2022. The Vancouver Island Symphony follows all COVID-19 safety measures as outlined by the BC Provincial Government. Masks are required at rehearsals and whenever inside the rehearsal and performance locations.
