Within Kiwanis Village, Kiwanis Lodge is home to older adults who require long term care. Within private, spacious home rooms, across three floors, or neighbourhoods, with wonderful views and bright, open spaces, this is home. 64 Villagers live well together at Kiwanis Lodge. Care is gently given through the hands and the hearts of professional, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, care aides, cooks, laundry, housekeeping, recreation and holistic partners who are educated and compassionate and dedicated to their role. Add recreation, music therapy, an innovative registered dietitian, a reflective social worker, dedicated pharmacy, strong physician support, and both occupational and physiotherapy, and you can see why Kiwanis Lodge has the positive reputation it enjoys. HOW MUCH DO I PAY Licensed residential care at Kiwanis Lodge is publicly-funded through Island Health. Residents generally pay 80% of their after-tax income. WAITLIST Kiwanis does not manage the waitlist for Long-term Care.
