About this service
Each adult First Nation, Inuit and Metis learner is assessed and matched with a trained volunteer tutor. These pairs meet for up to 3 hours each week to work on an individualized program designed around their needs in reading, writing, math, budgeting skills and computer skills. We could provide assistance at a dedicated community centre location on reserve in Stzuminus, Snuneymuxw, and Snaw-naw-as First Nations, at VIU and Tillicum Lelum or at our main office downtown at 19 Commercial St. above "Well Read Books.". We provide assistance to those students enrolled in VIU and at Tillicum Lelum.
