About this service
Older Adults Eating Well Together is a peer-to-peer support program for older adults focusing on healthy eating and social connections. Trained volunteers provide support and guidance to community members who apply for a peer to assist them with their healthy eating goals. Are you an older adult who would benefit from some support from a peer with your healthy eating goals? An ideal candidate for this program is someone who is 65+ years of age and who wishes to make changes towards healthy eating through the support of a peer. This could include people who are low income, living alone, have limited social support, lack transportation or mobility and/or health issues.
