Are you looking for an oasis of calm in the heart of downtown Nanaimo? Come and visit the garden and grounds at St.Paul's Anglican Church. Our garden and grounds are lovingly maintained by volunteers with enthusiasm for gardening. There are traditional garden beds and contemporary plantings. The garden beds are designed and maintained to minimize water requirements and support beneficial insects and birds. From the carpet of daffodils at our front door in the spring, to the vibrant colours of the rhododendrons, tulips, weigela and holly berries, our grounds always look maintained. People enjoy sitting in the sun on one of our benches and communing with nature and God. Our side yard includes a large raised garden with rock border which has colour elements year round. You can feel the sea breeze and enjoy the many birds that pay us a visit. Come and enjoy this outdoor oasis and experience the glory of God.
