About this service
Forensic Outreach provides housing and outreach services to individuals involved in the criminal justice system or other social service ministries who are experiencing concurrent mental health and substance use challenges. Supports may include assistance with life skills, recreation, employment, education, and community involvement. The program tailors its services to each persons needs through flexible and person-centered approaches. In partnership with the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA), the Forensic Outreach team connects individuals to services and supports that enhance their ability to live independently in the community. The program is voluntary and collaborative in nature, combining the service user, the community, and a holistic outlook.
