About this service
This program is for Elders who have limited social contacts and are prone to isolation due to dementia. Stepping Stones provides a comfortable and friendly place for life-enhancing social interaction.
Participants enjoy a safe, controlled environment to interact with their peers and with caring staff members. A wide variety of recreational activities are available including exercises, brain teasers and activities for daily living. A nutritious lunch and snacks are provided.
Case Managers recommend and refer to the Stepping Stones program based on client/caregiver need and availability of space within the program.
Transportation is provided by the family or can be arranged through HandyDart at (250) 390-3000
