About this service
Drug checking is a low-barrier, harm-reduction service that allows service users to anonymously submit their drug samples to be analyzed. Service users will receive fact-based information based on the sample from a trained drug-checking technician utilizing the FTIR combined with fentanyl and benzodiazepine test strips. The drug-checking initiative's primary goal is to empower people who use drugs to make informed decisions about the drugs they intend to use.
