Under the Nanaimo Volunteer and Information Centre Society, this program is sponsored by the Canada Revenue Agency. Trained volunteers provide essential assistance for people on low and fixed income, to individuals on pensions, or disability claims, and to the unemployed. They process personal income tax returns at no charge to individuals. The resulting returns feed thousands of dollars back into our local economy annually. Appointments are available year round to people who qualify for this valuable service.
We complete taxes for the past 10 tax years (i.e. in 2019, will do 2009-2019)
During Tax season (March and April) we are open from 9am 3pm Fridays & Saturdays
During the off season we are open every third Friday of the month from May through January.
(CLOSED for the month of December, Easter & May long weekend)
