About 4,000 Canadians die by suicide every year. No matter the age of the person or the circumstances surrounding their death, each life lost to suicide painfully and forever alter that persons family, friends, and community. The good news is that suicide can often be prevented.
Canadian Mental Health Association Mid-island delivers Gatekeeper Suicide Prevention training: half-day safeTALK workshops and two-day ASIST training all across Vancouver Island and to our neighbouring Gulf, Discovery Islands, and Powell River.
