About this service
Clean Sweep is an employment program for residents of Nanaimo with lived experience. Participants of Clean Sweep pick up needles, paraphernalia, and small garbage in and around social housing and services, surrounding businesses, and downtown neighbourhoods. Clean Sweep members may also act as first responders in any Overdose they come across while on shift.
