Established in 1990, Ballenas Housing Society (Ballenas) is a non-profit registered charity governed by a committed and diverse volunteer Board of Directors. Our current property portfolio includes over 675 homes with additional developments under construction adding 140 new non-market residences designed for independent seniors, persons with disabilities and small families living in the regional district. Ballenas communities offer a mix of rental rates based on demonstrated need from deep subsidy to low end of market and rent geared to income (RGI).
