About this service
A box of fresh fruit and vegetables available at a low cost. The box usually includes about 7 - 8 different kinds of fruits and vegetables. The selection varies, but you can expect staples like potatoes, carrots, onions, apples, oranges and bananas almost every week. Most of the fresh fruits and vegetables in the Good Food Box come from a produce distributor who brings in produce from around North America. We do try to include as much locally grown produce as possible, including that which is grown on our urban farms.
Who can use it?
Anyone is able to purchase a good food box, regardless of income. The more people who purchase, the better prices we get on fresh fruits and vegetables.
When is it open?
Good Food Box is open Thursday 2:30 - 4pm.
