About this organization
St. Andrews Place is situated at Cedar Street and Third Avenue in Mission in a beautiful park-like setting of trees and gardens. Away from the bustle of city life, but still close to medical, shopping and entertainment facilities.
We have 60 One Bedrooms and 30 two bedrooms (2 bedrooms are for two people only) Each unit has the privacy of its own outdoors" and is fully equipped with fridge, stove, a large utility storage room, thermal glass sliding doors & windows.
What is Co-operative housing?
A housing co-operative is owned equally by each resident member. As a co-operative member, you do not directly own your unit. Instead, you have shares in a corporation, which owns the buildings, in the housing complex. Membership in a co-operative gives you the right to occupy a home in the development. It also allows you to take part in a community atmosphere as a voter in the general membership, a member of the Board of Directors, or as a committee member.
