About this service
The purpose of Supportive Recovery is to deliver low to moderate support to women who are working to reduce substance use and abuse, in a safe, structured living arrangement, free of alcohol or illicit drugs, during the course of their recovery.
Supportive Recovery is a service that complements work with an alcohol and drug counsellor. Women who are waiting to enter a therapeutic program, returning from a therapeutic program or reintegrating back into the community, are served through this program. Supportive Recovery may also be accessed when clients are at a high risk of relapse. This program provides safety and support through a model of peer support and structured daily activities.
