About this service
COVID-19 UPDATE: Community Parenting is available to offer via phone/messaging parenting suggestions, supports, referrals and online applications (ie: EI/BC Housing/Income Assistance/Registration of Live Birth, etc). Phone 604.788.9163.
Both the Community Parenting and the Aboriginal Parenting programs are referral based programs offering short term support services for prenatal clients and parents. Referrals can be made through a physician, social worker
Program assists with:
- Healthy parenting practices
- Parenting support and strategies
- Linking Parents with community resources
- Assisting with Child Tax benefits
- Help with registration for social insurance and birth certificates
Who can use it?
Parents with children aged 0-6 residing in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows.
