PCC - Counselling Services

Our experienced and skilled team of counsellors provide support and counselling for couples, individuals, adolescents, children and families. Some of the common areas people see us about are: Couples & Marriage Counselling Depression & Mood Disorders Anxiety Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Trauma & Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Eating Disorders & Body Image Stress & Anger Management Spirituality Personal Growth Burn-out Grief & Loss Family Conflict Sexuality & Intimacy Issues Sexual Dysfunction Counselling Sessions at our Langley Office Before your first appointment, we ask that you complete an intake form that will allow us to best assess your counselling needs and determine which of our counsellors may be best suited to work with you. Pacific Coast Counselling has a standard rate of $135.00 per 50 minute session. Our rate is based on the rate suggested by the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors. We strive to make sure that our counselling services are accessible to those people who are in need of receiving support and help. For those who cannot afford our standard rate, we offer subsidized counselling services based upon a sliding fee scale to individuals, couples, and families. To discuss this option please call our office at 604-262-8806 for more information about eligibility and qualification for subsidized counselling services. Extended Health Insurance Coverage We endeavour to support those we serve in accessing insurance coverage for our counselling services. If you have extended health benefits, you might be eligible for reimbursement. The first step is to check with your insurance provider about counselling benefits. In addition, determine if they cover Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCC) or Registered Marriage & Family Therapists (RMFT) for reimbursement. As there are many insurance companies, each with their own specific policies, procedures, and coverages, we ask our clients to pay for our services at the time of provision and claim our fees afterwards.
