ILS - Youth Services

Youth Services offers a personalized and flexible service for youth ages 16 to 19 years of age in a variety of locations throughout Langley City and Township. Youth Services focuses on building employment skills which translate into gainful employment, access to ongoing learning and post-secondary education, independent transportation training, life skills development, promoting community safety and healthy living skills, providing opportunity for community engagement and the development of healthy relationships. Youth Services is a user driven model of support which is evaluated by the youth and their families to ensure the needs and goals of the youth are being met by the service. The number of hours, location, and type of supports are decided in collaboration with the youth and their families. Youth are referred to Youth Services by the Langley School District.
