About this service
Together with families, childcare providers and other community professionals, Supported Child Development works collaboratively to ensure that children (birth to 19 years of age) with additional needs can be included fully in the childcare settings of their families choice. This is done primarily though consultation and can include provision of resources, information, and in some cases, extra staffing support. As a parent or legal guardian, you may contact SCD directly, or you may be referred by a Doctor, Public Health Nurse or Community Professional. You may also submit a referral by completing the referral form below.
