About this service
Childrens Respite Services has served Langley families for the last 35 years providing parents and caregivers with a break from caring for their child with a developmental disability and/or medical illness. This is a time for parents and caregivers to enjoy some rest and renewal from daily demands while providing opportunities for the child to be introduced to new activities and interactions helping them grow in many ways. All families are referred by priority to our Respite Service by the Ministry of Children and Family Developments Children and Youth with Support Needs Division. Please contact your MCFD - CYSN Social Worker for more information. Childrens Respite Care Providers are contracted by Inclusion Langley and undergo a stringent screening process mandated by MCFDs contract and the agencys CARF accreditation standards.
