About this service
Gateway of Hopes state of the art commercial kitchen and meal centre is in constant motion, serving three (3) meals per day to our shelter guests and one (1) meal per day to the public, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The meal centre is intentionally designed to be a welcoming, safe and useable space for our guests, staff, volunteers and community members. Each day we provide healthy meals that will nourish those who need it and provide a comforting and friendly atmosphere. Our Meal Centre: Features large windows around the perimeter to let the natural light in. Has 4 flat screen TVs to inform guests of our latest activities, programs & services. Is made up of a committed team of staff cooks and volunteers (up to 15 volunteers a day!). Features a healthy menu created with the input of a professional nutritionist.
