LCSS - Settlement and Integration Services

Settlement and Integration Services is a twofold program funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) that provides services to newcomers and refugees living in Langley and its surrounding areas. OUTREACH SERVICES If you are new to Canada or just recently moved to Langley, British Columbia, our team is here to ensure that you get the necessary support for settling in a new area. The Outreach team connects newcomer immigrants and refugees with Permanent Resident (PR) status to a full range of local community-based and social services in Langley. We assist clients by identifying their needs and providing information to a variety of resources that are specially offered to them. Our services include: Assisting clients with the intake process to LCSS services Basic form assistance (e.g. PR renewal, Medical Services Plan, Social Insurance Number, Canadian Citizenship application etc.) Provide information to a variety of topics (e.g. learning English or French, Canadian culture, health, education in Canada, local transportation, etc.) Providing translation and interpretation to clients as required Referrals to other services and opportunities (e.g. childcare, legal support, social groups, employment, etc.) Our services are free of charge. We provide consultations in-person, online, or by phone. Settlement services are available in English, Filipino, Arabic, or Kurdish.
