About this service
The Piano Pedagogy Program helps students prepare for the Royal Conservatory of Music ARCT Teachers diploma, and is a great course for students who want to teach piano. There are three levels leading to completion of the ARCT: Elementary Pedagogy certificate Intermediate level certificate Advanced Pedagogy diploma There are three examinations required for each level: written exam viva voce (spoken) exam practical exam Preparation for the written and viva voce exams are done in class and preparation for the practical exams are done with the individual students piano teacher. Some prior teaching experience is helpful, but not required to take the course.
