About this service
The Canadian Language Benchmarks Placement Test (CLBPT) is designed to determine at what level you should begin your LINC program. It measures abilities in Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. For example, if you score benchmark 3 in each of these skills, you are ready to start the program at LINC level 4. The LINC assessment is only for the purpose of placement into the LINC program. It is not accepted by CIC as proof of language ability for citizenship applications. For this, you can take our LINC classes in Langley and receive a certificate once you have attained the required Canadian Language Benchmarks.
