It can be hard to find hospitality and tourism jobs in Canada being a newcomer and not having experience, credentials, or connections. Our free program helps immigrants like you access free fully funded training opportunities to find tourism and hospitality jobs. Naturalized Canadian Citizen or Permanent resident (within the last 5 years) -or- Protected Persons with a Work Permit valid for one year (from the date joining the program) Live in British Columbia -Metro Vancouver, Greater Victoria, Okanagan, the Kootenays, and Prince George regions Newcomers seeking entry-level work within the Tourism & Hospitality sector; newcomers that worked in the field and were laid off due to COVID; and Newcomers already working in the industry and may require some re-skilling and/or upskilling to improve and retain the job, or for advancement purposes English Level - Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 5
