Meet other older adults (55+) to make new friends and build networks Learn about your community Participate in meaningful social activities Improve your digital literacy skills (how to access programs online) Share your skills and abilities with peers (Senior Navigators) Help reduce social isolation of other immigrant adults and seniors Gain satisfaction in contributing to the wellbeing of older adults/seniors
Who can use it?
55 years old and up Permanent resident Protected Person as defined in S. 95 of IRPA Individuals who have been selected to become permanent residents and who have been informed by a letter from IRCC Live-in Caregiver or Temporary Foreign Worker Provincial nominees who are still awaiting a letter of approval for permanent residency from IRCC Naturalized Canadian citizen Priority given to newcomers who have been in Canada five (5) years or less.
