ABBA Canada exists to raise the banner of Gods call to care for the fatherless. We exist to respond to the biblical call of James 1:27 Pure and undefiled religion is this; to care for the widow and the orphan. Our dream is for every believer to be engaged with helping vulnerable children and we long to see thousands of children around the world cared for through this ministry, and others like it. We do this through: RAISING AWARENESS FOR ADOPTION At the center of the gospel is the glorious reality that we have been adopted in Christ. This vertical reality ought to move us to care for the orphans in our world. There are 143 million children in need of care today; 30,000 in Canada alone. PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR ADOPTION The number one obstacle to adoption is the finances. We provide interest-free loans and grants to help Christian families fulfill Gods call to adopt. EQUIPPING THE CHURCH TO CARE FOR ORPHANS We provide assistance in establishing local church adoption, fostercare, orphancare ministries, including starting church adoption funds. SUPPORTING ADOPTIVE & FOSTER FAMILIES Adoption and fostercare is hard and it is easy to feel alone. We want to connect you with other families and resources to help you.
