Relief and Respite
FPSS Society publishes a Relief and Respite List in each issue of The Island Connection newsletter. *
Relief and Respite Caregivers listed are Ministry-approved Family Care Homes.
Relief and Respite Caregivers must be approved by their Resource Social Worker, who contacts FPSS Society confirming approval for the caregiver to be listed on the listing.
*Please note: Ministry requirements and expectations around Relief and Relief providers varies from office to office. In some areas, the Ministry does not allow the list to be published in the newsletter or on-line. Please ensure you are observant of the MCFD expectations in each area.
