About this organization
The Town of Lake Cowichan is at the headwaters of the Cowichan River and at the foot of Cowichan Lake. The Lake, River and mountains not only sustain the lifestyle our residents love, but also attract others to visit and enjoy our natural assets. Fishing, hiking, cycling and many types of water sports provide recreation for thousands of visitors year round.
Located on the Pacific Marine Circle Route, we are also a gateway to many west cost adventure destinations such as Port Renfrew, Bamfield, Nitinat and the Carmanah Wallbran Valley, with many wilderness campgrounds along the way.
Our vibrant Ts'uubaa-asatx First Nation also takes pride in their territory and are currently expanding their horizons with housing and waterfront development. We are proud to be their friend and neighbour.
