About this service
The entrance is located at the blue door in the rear parking lot.
A hot evening meal, access to a clean bed, sundries and a shower, laundry and the warm company of the staff and volunteers of the LRCA Cold Weather Shelter are essential services for our community. The Ladysmith Resources Centre operates Ladysmiths low barrier cold weather shelter, available to adults needing short-term housing. We offer 10 beds available on a nightly basis.
Our professional staff members operate the shelter and provide assistance and companionship. Shelter staff are also happy to make referrals to other agencies if the guest so desires this help.
It is a safe environment off the streets where individuals can expect to be treated with inclusivity, fairness and respect.
