About this organization
In co-operation with Ladysmith Food Bank a monthly dinner is provided to patrons of the Food Bank. A personal invitation is extended to the patrons. Dinner is followed by music or games. All attendees receive a door prize by luck of a draw, with a the major prize being a handmade quilt. The quilts are made by a quilting group at St. Philips Cedar. The Open Table outreach serves a nutritious full dinner once a month to about 50-75 clients of the Ladysmith food bank . We serve dinner at 5:30 at the Ladysmith Masonic Hall, 26 Gatacre, usually on the 3rd Friday of the month. (September - May). Volunteers are needed to cook, wash dishes, serve, set up/take down and move supplies in & out . If you are interested, call Louise Baines at (250) 245-7264.
Donations can be given to St. Philips Anglican Church, Cedar to support the Open Table.
