About this service
Second stage housing programs provide housing and supports for women who have left abusive relationships as they make plans for independent living. Many women are referred to second stage housing programs from shorter-term transition houses and safe home programs.
Tamitik Status of Women operates 4 units of Second Stage Housing for women located in Kitimat. Our units are private, secure, low-cost apartments where you can live safely and independently typically for 6 - 18 months. Staff are available to provide emotional support, safety planning and referrals.
We typically do not have vacancies, but if you are interested in the program please contact us.
