About this service
The Pre-Intervention - This is the heart of the Intervention. The family will learn what their part in the intervention will be and we will explore different treatment centres. The family will then be responsible for writing their loved one letters for the Interventionist to review. It is our job to make sure each member is coming from a non-judgmental place and treats their loved one with respect, love, care and compassion.
The Intervention - The stage is set and an environment of safety and structure is in place. We address your loved one your letters and remind them of some fond memories you may have had together. Each member recalls specific events of how their loved ones addiction has impacted them.
The Family Afterwards - We assist family members in counselling and connecting with ALANON. As this is a family illness, so is recovery. Our job is to keep all members accountable to their bottom lines and strong boundaries.
